On April 7, 2018 the BC Obesity Society 6th Annual Summit was held again at the Morris J Wosk Centre for Dialogue in Vancouver. We had an excellent meeting with a record turnout. Dr. Dennis Hong, Associate Director of the Centre for Minimal Access Surgery, from Hamilton, Ontario was our visiting keynote speaker. Also featured was Dr. Judy Shiau, Medical Director and Lead Physician for LEAF Weight Management Clinic, Ottawa. This meeting served as a forum to connect health care practitioners who have an interest in the care of the obese patient.
